South Warwickshire Literary Festival
Little festival, big heart
SWLF is powered by a team of enthusiastic volunteers, with very different backgrounds and jobs. We are brought together by our love of words and our desire to put the South Warwickshire Literary Festival on the map of UK Lit Fests.
We believe in giving back to the community and helping other writers however we can through sharing advice, experience, support, and opportunities.
SWLitFest is still relatively new and is run on a shoe-string budget, with all monies collected being put towards the running of the festival. We aim to support those just starting out on their writing journey and give a space and a voice to writers who may not otherwise be heard.​
We pride ourselves on being a Local Festival for Local Authors and, wherever possible, our guest speakers and workshop leaders have a connection with South Warwickshire and surrounding areas.
They share our values and our desire to give back and encourage others. They generously offer their time at low rates – often for no more than out-of-pocket expenses – enabling us to provide you with marvellous opportunities to meet and work with great authors to improve your writing.

In line with our mission to make the Festival accessible, we offer five complimentary tickets for the Main Hall activities for the unwaged.
